God’s Will | Minister Early Copeland
As disciples of Christ, our purpose in coming to church should extend beyond mere entertainment; we are called to grow in our understanding of God’s word. In Jeremiah 29:11, it states, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This means we should share our testimonies with others and invite them to hear the life-changing message of Christ, reinforcing the hope and future that God has for each of us.
In our families, we see how easily our children can be influenced by the distractions of this world. Therefore, it's essential that we actively guide them toward God’s truth. By reminding ourselves and the younger generations of God’s will for our lives, we can help anchor our faith in the promises outlined in Scripture, fostering a community that seeks to grow spiritually together. Let us commit to being examples of faith and sharing the transformative power of God’s word in our lives.
